Jeremiah I. Nelson is an Associate at Stuart Kane LLP, and practices in the Real Estate group.
Mr. Nelson focuses his practice on providing real estate advice to public and privately-held companies at all stages of development, including negotiating office, retail, industrial and biotech leases, construction contracts and work letter issues, and purchase and sale transactions. He has also provided guidance to companies on the real estate elements of assets sales, and mergers and acquisitions, in transactions ranging from a few million dollars to over $26 billion.
Mr. Nelson has significant litigation experience in mediation, the court room and in arbitration, which brings a unique perspective to his transactional practice and allows him to provide effective advice pre-suit with an eye toward early resolution. He has litigated matters arising from construction contracts and performance (including claims arising from design defects, construction defects, delay, and stop notices and mechanics liens), real property taxation and municipal elections, real estate brokerage matters, premises liability, landlord-tenant matters, and general real estate and business disputes.
Prior to joining Stuart Kane, Mr. Nelson was an attorney in the Real Estate and Environmental Group at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati.
