Josh C. Grushkin is a founding partner of Stuart Kane LLP, and practices in the Real Estate group.
Experience
Mr. Grushkin’s practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including real property acquisitions and dispositions, development, entitlement, construction, financing, and leasing.
His expertise includes land acquisitions and dispositions for commercial and residential developers, homebuilders, investors and corporate users. Mr. Grushkin has negotiated the purchase and sale of operating retail shopping centers, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as land for new development, including raw land, entitled parcels and finished lots in master-planned communities.
Leasing transactions handled by Mr. Grushkin cover a vast array of geography and product type. From retail space leases in Hawaii, to office space in Boston, and industrial space in the Irvine Spectrum, Mr. Grushkin has represented publicly-traded and privately owned corporations as tenants, and retail, office and industrial owners and developers as landlords.
Mr. Grushkin also represents borrowers and lenders in real estate financing transactions, including construction, bridge and permanent loans made by financial institutions, life insurance companies and private lenders, as well as transactions involving commercial mortgage backed-securities (CMBS).
Prior to becoming a founding partner of Stuart Kane LLP, Mr. Grushkin was a shareholder at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.
