Bruce May Featured Speaker at PIHRA and SHRM Annual Legal Update

Stuart Kane partner Bruce May was a featured speaker at the Annual Legal Update presented by Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in January 2015.  Bruce presented an overview of California’s new Sick Leave Law, effective July 1, 2015, which will require most employers in California to offer at least three paid sick days each year to most full and part-time employees.

Hundreds of human resources professionals attended the legal update hosted in three separate sessions in Pasadena, Riverside, and Costa Mesa.  This is Bruce’s third stint as a featured speaker at the annual PIHRA/SHRM Legal Update event.
