Stuart Kane Partner Eve Brackmann Authors ICSC Article: Does a “Groceries” Exclusive Include Alcoholic Beverages for Off-Site Consumption?

Stuart Kane LLP is pleased to announce that partner Eve Brackmann has published an article in the Winter edition of Shopping Center Law & Strategy, the legal journal for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), titled “Does a ‘Groceries’ Exclusive Include Alcoholic Beverages for Off-Site Consumption?”  Eve co-authored the article with attorney Nairi Siddiqi.

The article explores whether alcohol qualifies as “groceries” in the exclusive use clause in certain types of shopping center leases in the U.S. It examines case law that has set important precedents. Click here to read the full article.
